My friend Char and I have been organizing this walk and free screening for the past three years in hopes of being the change and preventing late stage diagnosis of oral and oropharyngeal cancers. It is my hope to bring awareness to the public to ask for an annual oral cancer screening and to help encourage and educate dental professionals to do oral cancer screenings so that we can make a difference in more people's lives. Oral Cancer treatments can be brutal and often people are disfigured and unable to either talk or eat or both. The 5 year survival rate is not good either. I encourage you to advocate for yourself and your loved ones and find an event in your area or start your own. Thank you for your support, Kyle
