Trent White - Modern Day Warrior

On June 7, 2012, one of our best friends, Trent White, lost a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was 28 years old.

Only eight months earlier, in November of 2011, Trent was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the tongue. He didn't smoke or chew tobacco. The diagnosis came as a complete shock, to say the least. Oral cancer has existed outside the awareness of much of the public, yet it will take one life, every hour of every day in the U.S.

Trent had an incredible zest for life.  The word ordinary was not in his vocabulary.  His energy and charisma were contagious. Trent was the toughest person you could ever meet and welcomed any challenge with open arms and a smile.

We would like to honor Trent by raising money for the Oral Cancer Foundation.  Some of us will be getting together to run in a Warrior Dash in Ohio on August 9th. The goal is to gain as many donors as possible prior to race day.
